School Hours
Students may arrive as early as 7:30 am and may be picked up at the latest at 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Instruction begins at 9:00 am, at which time all students must be at school.
Dress Code
All students are expected to wear their school T-shirt with navy bottoms and navy closed-toe shoes as defined in the school handbook. The last Friday of each month is "Dress Down Day" -- on that day, students may opt not to wear their school uniform.
Hot-Lunch Service
Each month, our parents may pre-select dishes for their children from our menu calendar which features multiple daily specials as well as recurring favorites. All meals are made from scratch every morning in a nut-free and microwave-free kitchen with only natural ingredients (no MSG, no trans fats, no nitrates, no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors or flavors). Orders for special diets are welcome, including gluten free, kosher, and vegetarian.

The primary academic goal of this level is to educate the hand in anticipation of writing. Proper form is developed through writing exercises as well as painting projects and whole-body activities.
This level introduces children to the joys of writing and the beginnings of reading. From tracing and forming letters to recognizing and naming them, students in time learn to combine vowels and consonants. At this age, building early language and literacy skills comes in a variety of activities that incorporate: language, vocabulary, and phonological awareness knowledge of the alphabet, concepts of print, and emergent writing skills
